
Mr. Mokotjo has over 30 years’ experience working in the Government of Lesotho in different positions from Directorship to Principal Secretary. He led various Government Ministries which include; Agriculture and Food Security, Planning and Economic Development, Trade and Industry, Employment and Labour, Home Affairs, Public Safety, and Chieftainship Affairs. He recently participated in the Digital Migration Project spearheaded by the Ministry of Communications, Science, and Technology. He was an Ambassador of Lesotho to the People’s Republic of China in 1999 to 2016. He has attended different training programs which include Corporate Governance, IT Governance, International Financial Reporting Standards, and Economics of Regulation. He holds an M.A. Economics from Washington State University and a B.A Economics from the National University of Lesotho.
Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane is a passionate medium-size farmer who aims to transform into large scale commercial farming. He is also a risk management, strategic management and corporate governance specialist and the main representative of the Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) at the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA). He reads, writes, presents, facilitates and share corporate governance and strategic management content in workshops and social media forums. Mr. Mpotjoane is a Certified Business Continuity Management Lead Implementer, a B.Com Accounting degree holder and completed Leadership and Management Development Programme (LMDP), Public Sector risk management and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) short courses. Mr. Mpotjoane has been invited as a Guest lectures by Botho University (Ethics and Integrity) and the National University of Lesotho (Building local investors and entrepreneurship). Mr. Mpotjoane has been part of the three speakers at the Institute of Internal Auditors 2015 annual conference and facilitated 2016 strategic management workshop for Kharetsa Planners Consult. He has also attended a number of risk management and corporate governance trainings and international conferences. Mr. Mpotjoane is an active member of the LRA Planning Team, Compliance Risk Management Committee and the Risk Management Forum. He has served as an Auditor in the Office of the Auditor General for five (5) years, and then joined the Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) as a Senior Tax Auditor, in 2010. The LRA established the Risk Management Unit in 2010 and he was then appointed to be Corporate Risk Manager. Mr. Mpotjoane is currently the Senior Manager-Risk and Governance, member of the Lesotho PostBank Board of Directors and a member of Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and also the Chairman of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Lesotho Board of Directors. In the past five (5) years, Mr. Mpotjoane has facilitated risk assessment and training sessions at corporate, divisional as well as individual projects levels. He has also led development of key governance tools (policies, charters and terms of references) and provided corporate governance technical support to enhance good governance and effective decision making. Mr. Mpotjoane is the Founder and the Committee Chairman of the Leader Forum. The Leader Forum is an institution of growing leaders who aspire to enhance culture of accountability, ethics, good governance and informed society. He has also joined the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) network and has already participated in online leadership development courses.
Mr. Sekhants’o has over ten years of banking experience. He started work at Lesotho Building Finance Corporation after graduation that was later merged with Lesotho Bank. Majority of his experience was from working in various departments within the Bank, including corporate division and holding junior, middle, and senior positions. He has worked at Standard Lesotho Bank until 2006 and later joined Boliba Savings and Credit until 2018. He has diverse board membership with; Lesotho Housing and Land Development Corporation, Lesotho PostBank and a Director of a private Investment Company called Toro Investment Holdings.
Mr. Leqhaoe, the Managing Director at Lesotho PostBank, holds Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Corporate Governance. He is a Certified Expert Negotiator, Certified Rescue Analyst with Masters in Business Administration from the University of Free State. This cadre is a Fellowship member of the Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa, an international institution dealing with Corporate Governance and, Institute of Chartered Business Managers. With over 20 years of banking experience, he worked in various functions within the banking sector; from operations to business banking departments. He gained his experience from different organisations, namely; Lesotho Bank, Standard Lesotho Bank, First National Bank, Econet Lesotho, and currently Lesotho Postbank. He is an exceptional strategist; well skilled and knowledgeable in the banking industry. This Visionary possesses a degree of ability in mentorship and coaching with particular emphasis on Ethical Leadership, Strategy, Corporate Governance, Business Continuity, Risk Management, Structured Deals, Business Rescue, and Re-organisation amongst others.

Mr. Khama currently occupies the position of Chief Risk Officer at Lesotho Postbank. He has over twenty-six years of banking experience of which twenty-two years was at Standard Lesotho Bank. He was engaged in various areas within the Bank, such as branch operations, retail, business, and corporate banking and credit department. His banking experience ranges from junior positions, middle as well as senior positions. He is currently studying with UNISA and pursuing PGD in Risk Management. He attended various workshops including; Integrated Thinking and Reporting, and BASEL II, III & ICAAP.
Ms. Letele has over eleven-years of diverse experience, which includes, internal audit, external audit, governance, risk, and compliance as well as financial control assurance. She worked at Moores Rowland, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA), Momentum, and FirstRand Bank Group. Currently, Ntolo is Chief Audit Executive for Lesotho PostBank. Ms. Ntolo Letele holds a BComm Accounting Degree from the University of Port Elizabeth and was also awarded a Diploma in Management Accounting by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). She signed off her articles with South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and is a member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) as well as Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Advocate Makara is a holder of LLB degree from the University of Lesotho. Professionally, he is a member of Compliance Institute of Southern Africa. He started his career in 2008 as a practicing lawyer in different law firms in Maseru. In 2011, Mr. Makara joined the Legal Voice Ltd; a legal risk insurance company, as Legal Officer and later promoted to the position of Senior Legal Officer. Then, he joined Lesotho PostBank as Debt Collection and Rehabilitation Officer. In December 2014, was transferred to the Legal Department at the position of Compliance Officer. After his determination and commitment, Makara got promoted to Legal and Compliance Manager, and subsequently to his current title of Chief Legal and Corporate Secretary Officer.
Mrs. Tshehlo completed short term qualification in areas of Strategy and Analytical Thinking. She has over fourteen years of banking experience gained from various functions ranging from Branch operations and banking, Retail, Business and Corporate banking at different levels; junior, middle as well as senior positions. She started her career at Lesotho PostBank in 2005, later joined First National Bank Lesotho for four years where she managed various branches. In 2016 she came back to Lesotho PostBank and currently engaged as Chief of Sales.
Mr. Molise Ramaili holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Lesotho PostBank. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the National University of Lesotho (NUL) and Board Leadership Core Certificate from Gordons Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Mr. Ramaili holds vast years of experience in the corporate world spanning from his years of practice in the legal fraternity, communications sector as well as banking sector. He commenced his career as a legal practitioner representing clients in the courts of law both in Lesotho and South Africa before moving to Water and Sewerage Company as Assistant Legal Manager. He also worked at Vodacom Lesotho as Senior Specialist Contracts and eventually moved to First National Bank of Lesotho where he spent 5 years as Head of Legal and Compliance and Company Secretary. His move to the Operations section started at Letshego Financial Services Lesotho where he occupied the position of Chief Operations Officer, which he now currently holds upon joining Lesotho PostBank.
Mrs 'Makatleho Martha Morake has more than 20 years of work experience in different industries. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Lesotho PostBank and responsible for management and planning of the Banks’ financial resources. Prior to joining Lesotho PostBank, she worked as Financial Controller at Lesotho Flour Mills. She holds both MBA degree with University of Free State and Chartered Accountant Lesotho. She is also a member of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants.
Mr. Mahooana is a certified Oracle Professional with solid experience in database administration, systems administration, business applications support and development. He is a Computer Science Graduate with over twenty-two years as an IT professional in banking and telecommunications industries. His professional experience extends over the borders of Lesotho having worked in Europe for more than 6 years. He was Applications Manager for Econet Telecom Lesotho implementing and supporting information systems ranging from ERP, mobile wallet, mobile insurance, services provisioning prior to joining Lesotho PostBank. Mahooana currently holds a Chief Technology Officer position at Lesotho PostBank for the last six years.
Mr. Moiloa Moiloa is a seasoned Human Resources practitioner who cut his teeth in the HR carder in 2004 and boasts a 14 years’ experience. His speciality is Employee and Labour Relations, Performance Management. Mr. Moiloa began his career at the Government of Lesotho, the moved to First National Bank Lesotho (Pty Ltd), the joined Lesotho PostBank in 2015.

Lesotho PostBank injects M1,200,000 into the A-Division League |

Lesotho PostBank has handed over a M1,200,000.00 cheque to Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) in support of the A-Division League, which through the sponsorship is now called the Lesotho PostBank league. The league will receive M400,000.00 per season for three (3) seasons. The winners both North and South streams will get M50,000.00 while the first and second runners ups will pocket M25,000.00 and M20,000.00 respectively. The team in fouth place will recieve M17,000.00 while the fifth will get M15,000.00. The sixth team will walk away with M14, 000.00 while number seven, eight, nine and ten will each get M13,000.00, M12,000.00, M11,000.00 and M10,000.00 respectively. Our aim is to participate in empowering Basotho while also looking at the challenges that the country is facing; one of them being unemployment. As the only Basotho Bank, we know that the money injected is for Basotho but at the same time we need it to be used in the most transparent way. Lesotho PostBank’s Managing Director, Mr. Molefi Leqhaoe has been crowned Best CEO in the first Lesotho Men of Honor Awards hosted by Mind Liberation and MJM Consultancy. The awards were held on the 15th June 2019 at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre. On receiving his award, Leqhaoe thanked God, his family and colleagues. In addition, the bank has introduced One Time Password (OTP) as an additional second factor authentication for financial and sensitive transactions performed on the Mobile Banking Application. OTP is a five-digit numerical code sent in real time as SMS to your registered mobile number while performing the transaction and is auto-read by the Mobile Application.
If you receive an OTP without initiating any transaction online, please call our Customer Banking Support on +266 80099920 or 22317842 immediately to disable your Mobile Banking access till the matter is investigated and resolved. If the OTP is incorrect, the transaction will be declined..
Lefisa is a personal loan facility aimed at financing personal financial commitments. It primarily focuses on individuals with constant monthly income. Loan repayment is deductible from source or from the account at Lesotho Postbank.
Group lending is another facility of Lesotho PostBank aimed at financing Basotho’s income generating projects at their communities as a group. Reputable groups with good administration practices are eligible to apply.
This facility assists SMMEs to raise funds to grow their business and reach their business potential as well as business expansion.
Supplier financing is aimed at financing a short-term income generating activity and or projects. Suppliers need to present an awarded tender certificate. Loan repayment is payable once the supplier receives payment for service rendered.
This investment offers customers an opportunity to establish financial wealth through monthly installments from a minimum of M100 while earning competitive interest rates. The investment period is between 6, 9, 12, up to 60 months.The investment product does not allow the customer to make any withdrawals during the life of the investment, but only to deposit the required amount until the agreed period. If the customer fails to deposit the minimum required amount for two consecutive months, the investment will laps.
This is an investment product that allows customers to make once-off deposits from a minimum of M1, 000. The fixed amount accumulates interest over an agreed investment period. It is suitable for individuals, organizations, groups and businesses that want to earn attractive interest on their investments. The investment period ranges from 3, 6, 9,12, 24 and 60 months.
An investment account that offers good interest while allowing easy access to the money when required and also allowing additional deposits via operating account, any time. It is suitable for both individuals and Businesses that have substantial surplus funds that need to withdraw funds in the near future, or need an investment that can fund other accounts on demand.
Stokvel Account is an investment product for small and large groups where you can save excess funds or build an investment wealth through monthly deposits; A group has instant access to its funds, while earning a competitive interest rate. It is particularly suitable for groups who save for a specific goal, as well as wealth creation. A minimum initial deposit of M100 is required to open the account and a group must maintain a minimum balance of M250 to keep it operational.
A transactional account for every day transacting purposes aimed for customers with a constant or regular income. It primarily targets salaried individuals or organisations with a regular income that can either choose to transact using an ATM card or Savings Book. The account is opened with a minimum of just M100.00.
A transactional account for anytime transacting purposes aimed for individuals with a once off or irregular income (non frequent income). It primarily targets non-salaried individuals who can choose to transact using an ATM Card or Savings Book. The account is opened with a minimum of just M100.00.
