Mr. Mokhachane Mopeli

Managing Director ((CA(L), MBA).)

Mr. Mopeli is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in the banking sector.   He has made his mark by sustainably growing the business units under his leadership, in that way making a lasting impact on the economy at large.

Prior to joining Lesotho PostBank, he has held strategic positions in several banks both locally and in South Africa. He acquired various skills in the areas of Finance, Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail, Commercial as well as General Management.  His core skills are in strategy, business development, people, risk, financial and stakeholder management.  He is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(L) and holds Masters in Business Administration. 

Mrs. Belina Ntlama

Chief Compliance Officer (Certificate in Corporate Governance (UJ), Advanced Certificate in AML (International Compliance Association), LLM in Commercial Law (NUL), Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (NUL))

Advocate Belina Ntlama is the Chief Compliance Officer at Lesotho PostBank, she is an accomplished lawyer who holds Bachelor of Laws and Masters in Commercial Law obtained from the National University of Lesotho. She further holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance obtained from the University of Johannesburg and an Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering obtained from the International Compliance Association.  She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Leadership and a member of the Global Compliance Institute.  She is highly skilled in regulatory and non-regulatory Compliance, corporate governance, and legal risk management.  She has extensive financial sector experience acquired in Banking and Mobile-Money Operator’s industries, having worked for Lesotho PostBank from 2017 to 2020 and for VCL Financial Services from 2020 to 2023 before re-joining Lesotho PostBank.

Ms. Lineo Masupha

Chief Sales Officer (a.i) (Bachelor’s Degree in Economics)

Ms. Lineo Masupha, has been appointed to act as Chief Sales Officer of Lesotho PostBank (LPB) from August 2024 to date and she has been driving Sales and Marketing strategy of LPB. She is substantively the Head of Retail overseeing the branch operations from 2023. She joined LPB as Branch Manager in 2016 where she managed Mafeteng branch from its opening and grew the branch to be one of the best performing branches in LPB. Prior to joining LPB, she gained banking experience in different branch banking positions up to managerial position at First National Bank – Lesotho from 2006, she commenced managerial position in 2014.

Ms. 'Mabakoena Nkeleli Thamae

Chief Credit Officer BSc (NUL), CA (L), Chartered Banker MBA 

Ms. ‘Mabakoena Nkeleli Thamae, has been appointed as Chief Credit Officer of Lesotho PostBank (LPB) from February 2019 to date and has been extensively involved in formulating the bank’s Credit Policy and Credit Strategy. She is substantively the Credit Administration Manager in the Credit Department from 2016, has served as the Acting Head of Credit for about 9 months in 2015/16, and she first joined LPB as a Credit Officer in 2014. She led the project scope and parameterization streams during the Core Banking System Upgrade Project from 2016 – 2017. Prior to joining LPB, she gained crucial banking sector experience at First National Bank – Lesotho as the Business Banking Manager from 2012 – 2014. Her formative experience includes teaching Public Financial Regulations as an Accounting Consultant at Lesotho Institute of Public Administration and Management (LIPAM) from 2010 – 2012, and an Auditing Internship for parastatals with the Office of the Auditor-General in 2011.

Advocate Retselisitsoe Makara

  Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary (LLB) & Chief Operations Officer (a.i)

Advocate Retselisitsoe Makara is a holder of LLB degree from the University of Lesotho. Professionally, he is a member of the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa. He started his career in 2008 as a practicing lawyer in different law firms in Maseru. In 2011, Adv. Makara joined the Legal Voice Ltd; a legal risk insurance company, as Legal Officer and later promoted to the position of Senior Legal Officer. Then, he joined Lesotho PostBank as Debt Collection and Rehabilitation Officer. In December 2014, was transferred to the Legal Department for the position of Compliance Officer. After his determination and commitment, Makara got promoted to Legal and Compliance Manager, and subsequently to his current title of Chief Legal and Corporate Secretary Officer.

Mr. Molefi Khama

Chief Risk Officer (CAIB (SA), BCom Banking, and CBCI)

Mr. Molefi Khama currently occupies the position of Chief Risk Officer at Lesotho Postbank. He has over twenty-six years of banking experience of which twenty-two years was at Standard Lesotho Bank. He was engaged in various areas within the Bank, such as branch operations, retail, business, and corporate banking and credit department. His banking experience ranges from junior positions, middle as well as senior positions. He is currently studying with UNISA and pursuing PGD in Risk Management. He attended various workshops including; Integrated Thinking and Reporting, and BASEL II, III & ICAAP.

Ms. Ntolo Letele

Chief Audit Executive (BComm Acc, CIMA, Dip MA)

Ms. Ntolo Letele has over eleven-years of diverse experience, which includes, internal audit, external audit, governance, risk, and compliance as well as financial control assurance. She worked at Moores Rowland, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA), Momentum, and FirstRand Bank Group. Currently, Ntolo is Chief Audit Executive for Lesotho PostBank. Ms. Ntolo Letele holds a BComm Accounting Degree from the University of Port Elizabeth and was also awarded a Diploma in Management Accounting by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). She signed off her articles with South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and is a member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) as well as Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Mr. Moiloa Moiloa

Chief People and Culture Officer (BA)

Mr. Moiloa Moiloa is a seasoned Human Resources practitioner who cut his teeth in the HR carder in 2004 and boasts a 14 years’ experience. His speciality is Employee and Labour Relations, Performance Management. Mr. Moiloa began his career at the Government of Lesotho, the moved to First National Bank Lesotho (Pty Ltd), the joined Lesotho PostBank in 2015.

Mr. Nare Matsoha

Chief Wholesale Banking Officer (Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and BA Economics .)

Nare Matsoha is an MBA (Finance) Candidate, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. His undergraduate qualification is a BA Economics with a minor in Statistics. He has undergone Registered Person Examinations (RPE) with South African Institute of Financial Markets. Moreover, in pursuit of continuous professional development throughout his career, he has undertaken several short courses including Compliance Management with UCT and Strategic Leadership with the prestigious Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He has over 17 years of experience in the banking industry, with more than a decade of experience in treasury and balance sheet management. He has superb local and regional (SADC) level experience dealing with payment systems, which culminated in a Vice-Chairperson seat on the SADC Payment System Management Body (SADC-PSMB).

Mr. Thuso Ramatlapeng

Chief Digital Banking Officer (a.i.) (BComm in Financial Management)

Mr. Thuso Ramatlapeng is a seasoned banker with over 19 years of extensive experience in the banking industry. Currently serving as the Acting Chief Digital Banking Officer of Lesotho PostBank from August 2024, He is at the forefront of driving digital transformation and innovation within the Bank. Having joined LPB as a Digital Banking Manager in 2017, He played a pivotal role in developing and executing the Bank’s digital roadmap, successful implementation of digital banking products and services. Before his tenure at LPB, he held various leadership positions at First National Bank – Lesotho, including Branch Manager for multiple branches.
