Agriculture Finance & Loans
Lesotho Post Bank has a number of account products that serve different purposes for its customers. Here is a list of available loan accounts:
Tractor Finance
Tractor Finance loans are asset financing loans provided to farmers to acquire tractors and/or accessories under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Lesotho Postbank, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security and the Ministry of Finance.
Animal Fattening
Animal production loans are working capital loans that are provided in farming of meat animals. This includes pig farming/fattening, cattle fattening and goat farming.
Agric Short Term Loan
Short-term investment loans that enable clients to expand their investment in farming activities. It includes acquisition of agricultural assets that will add value or enhance the agricultural activities.
Agric Long Term Loan
Long-term investment loans that enable clients to expand their investment in farming activities. It includes acquisition of agricultural assets that will add value or enhance the agricultural activities.
Crop Production
Crop production loans are working capital loans that are provided to farmers who are involved in productive activities. This covers various activities within the crop production such as carrots, pepper, tomatoes, green beans, cabbage.
Poultry Production
Poultry production loans are working capital loans that are provided to smallholder poultry farmers and larger-scale farmers who are involved in productive activities along the poultry commodity value chain.
